UrProject

Website, Native App

Ur project was an app idea that I worked on during my time at Reach Studios. The vision for the app was to helped connect contractors and building companies. The contractors used the app to find work and there was also a desktop version for construction companies to manage job applications, track project progress for each contractor and capture working hours with a timesheet. The intention of the app was to enable tradesmen to easily sign-up, but ensure that the phone numbers are also captured during an initial 2FA step when a profile is first created.

Goal of the app: Seamlessly connect contractors with construction companies that are looking for trade workers for large construction projects.

When a contractor first logs into the app their is a dashboard view that showcases various stats & progress, pulling in data from different app features, enabling them to have a clear overview.

Contractors have the ability to search for jobs using location, search and filters. This gives them the ability to drill down and refine their search to specific roles that fit their profile & skillset.

Contractors can then apply for jobs within the UI and track the progress of their application. Once they are approved for a job, the contract is sent through the app for them to sign. Once they have signed the contract, the dates they are working on the job are then automatically populated into the app calendar view, so the contractor can easily keep track of upcoming work. Contractors are also presented with an ‘all jobs’ section in a user friendly Vertical Scrollable Card List, enabling them to see all past and upcoming work.

When a contractor arrives on site, they can then use the time sheet feature in the app to clock in an out of a job in order to record their working hours. Once they have completed a days work, they log an entry and take photos of the completed work. This data is then pulled into the employees desktop dashboard so they can view project progress for each contractor.

Each contractor has a profile page where they can list trade skills, previous work, specify their rate and showcase qualifications. This section is crucial as the profile section is what the employer views when reviewing a contractors application in the desktop employer view.
